Top FMCGs still hiring in 2021

Today, we are looking at the Top Five FMCG’s that are still hiring for 2021. 

UNILEVER 

Unilever is a British-Dutch multinational consumer goods company, with 2.5 billion people using their incredible product range in their everyday life. They offer more than 400 brands to consumers around the world. Seven out of ten households around the globe contain at least one Unilever product, many being household-name brands that we know and love. 

Employment wise, they are currently registering interest for a number of placement opportunities in 2021. These range from Finance to Sales, and are known for hiring top quality applicants.

GSK 

GlaxoSmithKline, otherwise known as GSK, is a British multinational pharmaceutical company. They are a science-led global healthcare company aiming to be one of the world’s most innovative, best performing and trusted healthcare companies. They produce a combination of over the counter drugs whilst also delivering vaccines to protect against infectious diseases. 

Their placement schemes range widely, offering everything from Engineering roles to Global Ethics and Compliance placements. As of last week, they have opened a number of new roles and all applications are open.

P&G 

The Procter and Gamble Company is an American multinational consumer goods corporation. Originally, they were founded as a simple soap and candle company; now they’re the largest consumer goods company, specialising in a wide range of consumer health and personal hygiene products. In 2014, they recorded %83.1bn in sales for the year. 

In terms of employment, P&G are known to be great employers having been named #47 in Business by Universum World’s Most Attractive Employers. They were also named 3rd in Forbes as the best employers for diversity 2020.

L’Oreal 

L’Oreal is a French personal care company, and is known as one of the world’s largest cosmetics companies having developed activities in the field concentrating on hair colour, skin care, sun protection, makeup, perfume and hair care. For the first half of 2020, L’Oreal generated €13.07bn worth of sales. 

Employment wise, L’Oreal encourage a number of students to apply for their placement and graduate schemes, highlighting the importance of making a palpable impact upon their international success story. They have roles open internationally for students to apply for.

ALDI 

ALDI is the common brand of two German-family owned discount supermarket chains, with over 10,000 stores spanning across 20 countries and an estimated turnover of more than €50 billion. They are known as a discount retailer, very popular among the student population nationwide.

They have a handful of placement schemes on offer, giving a perfect insight into the story of ALDI and behind the scenes of their extraordinary retail environment. Their placements mainly focus upon the internal workings of their business.
